Student Council

Manav Sehyog School is dedicated to facilitating confidence and self-esteem among the Manvians. We formulate an extensive student empowerment programme to blend leadership and accountability into the curriculum. The school Student Council is a committee where the students increasingly experience the connection between their formal learning and its application in real life circumstances. It provides an opportunity to expand leader ship skills by proactively participating and contributing in all school processes, sensitising learners towards community welfare. The Student Council ensures steadfastness to the student code of conduct and thereby maintains a safe and conducive environment for all.

Selection Procedure

The nominated students for the Student Council, undergo selection processes that begins with filling the form on self-assessment and exploration. The selected students, then cross through three levels of interviews with the House Custodians, Co-ordinator and finally with the Principal of the school.

The pupils who acquire the privilege of being selected as members of the School Council, are prepared to handle their new roles with accountability. Their training under the guidance of teachers and professionals aims to inculcate managerial and organisational skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
